Vera Zimmerman has provided expert Accessibility consulting services for clients throughout the United States for over 27 years. The majority of her clients are repeat or referrals by those who describe her work as unparalleled.
Her experience provides clients with expertly tailored recommendations specific to their background, property and needs. Her services include on site surveys of entire campuses to individual buildings; plan reviews for new construction and renovations; and she is the Accessibility expert for various law firms, commercial property owners, project managers, architecture firms and design firms. She also provides consulting services for various Accessibility consulting firms in need of her expertise. Her expertise:

- 2021 Society for College and University Planning (SCUP) Merit Award for Excellence in Landscape Architecture for Open Space Planning – Virginia Tech Infinite Loop and Green Links (Accessible Routes)
- 2019 Society for College and University Planning (SCUP) Merit Award for Excellence in Planning for an Existing Campus - Virginia Tech Master Plan. A key goal of the Campus Master Plan was to establish a network of accessible routes across the campus (with total elevation change of 206’).
